Course Description and Objectives:

This course provides an introduction into research methods and applications for field of compliant mechanisms. The course topics include PRBM and continuum modeling approaches, analysis of elastic members, material consideration, synthesis approaches via FACT, building block methods and topology optimization. The course is intended for engineering graduate students, early-career engineering researchers or researchers from other disciplines that have interest in the field of compliant mechanisms.
