Please feel free to use them in your own classrooms. I welcome feedback or questions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3d6e343107eeb0cbf776de55211b1798\" style=\"color:#488865\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.tntech.edu\/skrosnick\/lab-news\/the-pet-plant-project\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"706\">The Pet Plant Project<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; students grow a seed to reproductive age and relate classroom topics to the changes they see in their own plant over the semester.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a5086f1a797d1a63e83048803a5ecf10\" style=\"color:#488865\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.tntech.edu\/skrosnick\/a-day-without-plants\/\">#adaywithoutplants<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; a social media challenge where students try to survive 24 hours without using any plant derived products (oxygen being an exception!).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6c8a5f1ab0f0fc75d639885318074cd9\" style=\"color:#488865\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.tntech.edu\/skrosnick\/rooting-students-in-their-botanical-history\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/nph.onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/full\/10.1002\/ppp3.10595\"><strong>Rooting Students in their Botanical History<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; a series of 10 educational modules for use in high school and college classrooms that teaches students about the importance of plants and herbaria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5c53c9915043ee291a605618bfe89e60\" style=\"color:#7d8287\"><strong>Understanding plant meristems<\/strong> &#8211; students frequently struggle to understand how shoot and root apical meristems work.
