FIRST Robotics

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is an organization whose mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders.  This is achieved through several exciting robotics programs for K-12 levels.  Steve has been involved in FIRST Robotics since 2008 in the following roles:

2013-present:  Volunteer Referee – FIRST Lego League East Tennessee Championship event, TTU, Cookeville, TN

2016:  Speaker/Organizer – FIRST Robotics Workshop sponsored by Eastman Chemical Company and Tennessee Tech, Kingsport, TN

2011-2013:  Team Founder, Lead Mentor –  FRC Team 4153 – Project Y, Los Alamos, NM

2008-2011:  Mentor – FRC Team 401 – Hokie Guard, Blacksburg, VA
