Creating a Course

The Center for Construction and Building Information Modeling is creating and teaching a BIM class that will function as an elective for Civil Engineering students at Tennessee Tech. The cornerstone of CCBIM is the above quote. Using Alhamami’s guide, the students will be able to look to the future of BIM and apply their new ideas to the BIM platform. The class will primarily focus on learning Autodesk Revit to complete three core projects as seen below. These projects will allow the student to gain a full understanding of the structural side of Revit which they can take with them into the job field.
