The Problem

HydraCorp is a business that focuses on hydrogel technologies that meet novel needs.  The current project focuses on a prototype of PAGE gel printer for intermediate-tier and lower research institutions that are not able to do proteomics work in masse by mass spectroscopy techniques.  Researchers with needs for pouring handcast polyacrylamide gels for Native PAGE, SDS-PAGE and 2-D PAGE that may also use gradient pouring techniques can benefit from the technology due to its safer synthesis techniques and ability to control the products produced more customarily for their work in a reproducible way. Other potential uses have been identified for teaching purposes.
